This site is still under construction!
Hello! Welcome to my site!
I grew up in Alamosa, Colorado, a town of about 10,000 people, 7,500 feet of altitude, and 30 miles of distance to the New Mexico border. I’ve always had a passion for learning, particularly geography and music. Some of my fondest childhood memories include advancing to the finals at the Colorado geography bee, six years of voice lessons with my music studio, studying Google Maps to put together roadtripping and road-biking itineraries, and writing songs on the playground in elementary school.
I graduated from Middlebury College in 2022 with a geography major, a music minor, and significant language coursework in both Spanish and Russian. After finishing school, I took my language skills on a gap year and traveled throughout the South Caucasus, Central Asia, and Mexico. When I returned stateside, I moved to Portland, Oregon and worked for two years as an analyst on the product team at Fraym. During my time at Fraym I built data pipelines in python, R, and QGIS, and developed new analytical tools for our team to interpret survey data for a variety of development and security projects around the world. During this time, I also launched mump’s playlist, a newsletter where I explore all things popular music, local and global, and analyze streaming data and the Billboard charts. Otherwise, I love running, reading non-fiction, travel, crocheting in bars, lingering a little too long in Portland’s many coffee shops, and cats.
I’m currently employed as a barista, making drinks for students at the University of Portland. I’m also enrolled in the online Data Analytics MicroMasters program with Georgia Tech to keep expanding my technical toolkit, and mump’s playlist. is as active as ever. As much as I’m enjoying the barista gig, I’m also eager to transition back to a career in GIS, data analytics, or really anything that allows me to explore my wide-ranging interests and skillset. If you’re reading this, there’s a good chance you can help me make that happen!
So now that you’ve made it this far, take a look around my page!
