- Processed administrative division shapefiles in QGIS to ensure topological consistency for use in spatial analysis workflows spanning several countries.
- Performed spatial interpolation modeling on a variety of a variety of attitudinal survey variables, validating raster results for gaps and hypercorrelation.
- Wrote a Python script to evaluate potential survey variables using pairwise correlation analysis, identifying optimal variable sets for inclusion in recurring analytical products, and replaced an ad hoc selection process with a documented, reproducible methodology adopted as a team standard.
- Used Python GeoPandas to construct city polygons from the Global Human Settlement Layer, geocode survey respondents, and classify survey respondents as urban/rural.
- Developed a Python monitoring tool to upload variable means to a central Google Sheet via API connection. Automated QA/QC across monthly dataset waves, flagging inconsistencies.
- Coordinated with external data vendors to define geospatial data requirements, manage intake, and ensure incoming datasets met project specifications. Managed survey data collection and testing in Alchemer.
- Contributed and reviewed code in GitHub, supporting reproducible, well-documented analytical processes across a distributed remote team.
- Applied spatial interpolation and statistical analysis to geospatial datasets, producing deliverables for NGOs and government agencies in international development contexts.
